Kotex "Are you in the know?" booklet for menstrual napkins, 1956, U.S.A.

For years copywriters for Kotex produced Are you in the know? advertisements for teenage American girls. This booklet - below are the cover and two interior pages - is a compilation of these ads published by Kimberly-Clark in 1956. There are only Caucasians in these ads, and the advice they give, and the dress of the people, suggest at least an upper-middle class audience. Times have certainly changed!
