MUSEUM OF MENSTRUATION AND WOMEN'S HEALTH

Sanisept menstrual napkin ad, Finland, 1980-1990s
magazine unknown

As in the Saba ad, this one focuses on the body area in question; the French Polivia pictures most of the woman, mostly nude, and avoids showing maybe the most important feature promoted in the ad text: the size of the napkin and its invisibility under a light dress, which the ad text promotes. Modesty creates glamour.
